Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEIs) now have a new alternative to pay the monthly National Simple Collection Document (DAS), DAS Collection, and Excess Revenue DAS, using a credit card, as announced by the Federal Revenue, ensuring social security benefits and business regularity.
New Payment Option for MEIs
The Federal Revenue announced that Individual Microentrepreneurs (MEIs) can now pay the monthly National Simple Collection Document (DAS), DAS Collection, and Excess Revenue DAS using a credit card. This new feature offers MEIs another alternative to pay their taxes, ensuring social security benefits and the regularity of their business.
How to Make Payment with Credit Card
To make the payment with a credit card, the MEI must access the website www8.receita.fazenda.gov.br/SimplesNacional/ and click on PGMEI, informing the CNPJ. Then, after accessing the 'Issue Payment Guide (DAS)' menu and selecting the desired period, a payment date within the same month must be informed. The system will redirect to the e-Arrecada page, where the MEI selects the 'Credit Card' option. Finally, the user enters their data and card details, chooses the number of installments, and clicks 'Pay Now' to complete the electronic transaction.
